SecureCom acquires Atmospheric and ramps up its cloud services capability
Privately-held IT services provider SecureCom has today signed a conditional agreement to acquire cloud specialist Atmospheric Ltd.
Atmospheric was recently placed in receivership and the assets of the business have been acquired from the receivers by SecureCom.

Founded in 2003, SecureCom is a pioneer in cloud services in New Zealand, designing, building and managing ICT systems and processes for local businesses. It uses fresh thinking to help its clients with their digital strategy and transformation, ensuring that they get real value from their technology investments.
It provides a range of cloud, hosting and managed ICT services for clients spanning SMEs through to mid-sized and larger corporate businesses.
Five of Atmospheric’s staff will join SecureCom’s team at its Auckland site, taking SecureCom’s total employee numbers to over 50 people.
SecureCom’s directors and shareholders are Andrew Holding, Chris New and Greg Mikkelsen – three senior business executives with many years of management experience with leading cloud, infrastructure and managed ICT service providers. SecureCom is a privately-held company, with over 50 staff based at its office in Auckland, New Zealand.
